Our mission is to screen quality films by filmmaker, from around the world. We don’t discriminate, we will screen movies from establish to new and emerging filmmakers. The event is broken up in two sections:
Fly time is a showcase of outstanding and innovative shorts, with a great story, premise and production values.
The Hanger is a break between showings so people can meet and network to get contacts and information, regarding the new york independent communities.
Shock and Awe is the fun portion of the event. This is where, we let the audience decide on how long they want to watch a particular short. If the audience thinks, it's good and/or funky, we continue to show it. If they slam it, we will stop it. It's a little like an amateur talent show, a la "the gong show" or "Showtime at the Apollo.
We feel everybody should have a chance to showcase their works in front of an audience. This way you can learn what works and what doesn’t.
